How LinkedIn handles the page cover size
1128 by 191 pixels is the long established cover image size for a LinkedIn company Page and the ratio the Page header has been drawn at for years. LinkedIn's current Page image specifications now list 1512 by 256 pixels as both the minimum and the recommended cover size, which is the same strip rendered for a wider header. Uploading the larger file is the safer choice today; the older size still fits the same shape and is what most brand kits hold.
Either way it is a shallow band under 200 pixels tall in the interface, and the Page logo is drawn over its lower left, so the first roughly 320 pixels of width are covered on a computer. Anything you want read belongs to the right of that and away from the extreme edges, because narrow windows and phones trim the sides.
Do not treat this as a poster. A flat colour, a texture or a single wide product shot survives the crop; a headline set at post size does not, since the band is a fraction of the height of a 1080 by 1350 post. LinkedIn caps Page images at 3 MB in PNG or JPEG, which a 1128 pixel wide file never approaches unless it is a photograph saved at maximum quality.
Questions about LinkedIn company cover sizes
1128 by 191 pixels is the established size and still fits the header shape. LinkedIn's current Page specifications list 1512 by 256 pixels instead, so exporting at the larger size is safer on wide screens. Both are capped at 3 MB in PNG or JPEG.
The Page logo is drawn over the lower left of the cover on a computer, covering roughly the first 320 pixels of width. Keep the logo area of the image empty and put any wording to the right of it, clear of the outer edges.
