Color palette from logo or photo: your logo already knows your colors.
Most one-person brands never wrote down their hex codes. Drop in the logo or a product photo and this tool pulls out up to six dominant colors, shows the exact hex and RGB values, tells you whether near-black or white text passes contrast on each, and proposes a background and accent pair for your posts. Transparent pixels are ignored, so PNG logos give the cleanest result.

PNG logos with transparency work best. The file stays on your device.
From a logo file to a usable palette
The extractor draws the image onto a small canvas, groups similar pixels into 32-level color buckets, ignores anything transparent, and lists the largest groups that are visibly different from each other. The result is the four to six colors a designer would pick out of the logo by eye, with the exact values to copy.
A brand palette for social media needs less than a brand guide: one background, one accent, one text color. The tool proposes that trio from the extracted colors by taking the most common color as the background and the first color with at least 3:1 contrast against it as the accent, and it tells you whether dark or light text reads on each.
Using the hex codes everywhere
Paste the hex codes into your design tool's brand kit, your website theme, and your Creobee brand color so every post is built from the same colors. Consistency across posts is what makes a grid recognizable at thumbnail size; the exact hue matters less than using the same one every time.
If the extracted values differ slightly from a brand guide, trust the guide. If there is no guide, standardize on these values and write them down: the palette section of our brand color guide explains how to extend a two-color palette without breaking it.
How to use it
- 01
Choose a logo (PNG with transparency is best) or any brand photo.
- 02
Copy the hex codes you want to keep. The share percentage shows how dominant each color is.
- 03
Use the suggested pairing, or test other pairs in the contrast checker, then keep the codes in your brand notes.
Questions
Upload the logo here. The tool samples every pixel, groups similar colors, and lists the most common ones as hex codes you can copy. It ignores transparent areas so the background does not count as a color.
One background color, one accent, and one text color is enough for a consistent grid. Pick the pair with at least 3:1 contrast between background and accent and 4.5:1 between background and text. The suggested pairing does that automatically.
JPG compression, anti-aliasing at the edges and averaging inside a color group shift values by a few points. If you have official hex codes, use those; if you do not, the extracted values are close enough to standardise on.
No. It is drawn onto a small canvas in your browser and the pixels are read locally. Nothing is stored.
