Type the caption to copy it.
The feed shows two lines of a caption, roughly the first 125 characters, then more. Most people never tap it, so the first line has to carry the post: the news, the claim or the question, not a greeting. Hashtags belong at the end, where they cost nothing.
Instagram also removes blank lines from pasted captions, so spacing that looks right in your notes can arrive as one block. The caption line break tool keeps it.
The feed shows a single image at its own shape between 1.91:1 landscape and 4:5 portrait, and trims anything taller to 4:5. A 1080 by 1350 post takes the whole width and the most height, which is why most designed posts use it.
The profile grid is a second crop: each tile is 3:4, a little narrower than 4:5, so about 34 pixels come off each side of a post. Check a whole row of posts with the grid planner before you post the first one.
A launch post gets one look in the feed. Before it goes out, check that the first line names what launched, that the image shows in full, that the caption points to the link in your bio, and that nothing important hides behind more.
Launch day is one post; the weeks after it decide whether people remember the launch. Creobee writes and designs a week of posts at a time from one description of your business, and on Autopilot it posts them for you.
Choose the post's image and paste the caption. Add your username and profile picture if you want it to look like your account.
Read the caption as it shows in the feed, cut at the more link, and tap more to see the rest.
Read the checks under the preview: the image's shape and size, the caption's length and the hashtags. Fix anything flagged, then post.
Two lines, which is roughly the first 125 characters. A line break ends the first line early, so a caption that opens with a short line shows less. The preview cuts the caption the same way.
2,200 characters, hashtags and emoji included, and up to 30 hashtags. The counter under the caption turns red past the limit.
Not between 1.91:1 landscape and 4:5 portrait: the feed shows it at its own shape. A taller image is trimmed to 4:5, and the preview shows how much. The profile grid then crops every post to a 3:4 tile; check that with the grid planner.
1080 by 1350 pixels (4:5). It takes the most screen in the feed, and below 1080 pixels wide a post can look soft.
No. The preview is built in your browser from the file you choose. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and there is no account.
