About 1600 x 900
1600 by 900 is the safe export for an image posted to X, which shows in-stream photos at 16:9 in the timeline and opens the full frame only on tap. Anything wider is cut top and bottom in that preview and anything portrait is cut hardest, so the timeline version of a tall graphic can lose the part that made it worth posting. The same file drops into a blog post or a 16:9 slide with no second export.
